Summary Judgment: From Drafting to Oral Argument

Summary judgment is a critical tool in civil litigation. Success at the summary judgment stage can save clients years of litigation – and legal expenses. This CLE will provide defense counsel with techniques and tips for preparing and presenting successful summary judgment motions, and will discuss the nuances in deciding whether and when to file for summary judgment, effective use of discovery, and more.

*TDLA believes this course meets the requirements and may qualify for 60 minutes toward the annual CLE requirement in ME, NH, & VT.  Attendees must self-report their attendance in their respective states. 

NH: NHMCLE does not approve or accredit CLE activities for the NH Minimum CLE requirement. TDLA believes this course meets the requirements of NH Supreme Court Rule 53 and may qualify for 60 minutes toward the annual NHMCLE requirement.

VT: TDLA is an accredited sponsor in VT and believes this course meets the CLE requirements.  Attorneys must self report their attendance.

ME: TDLA will apply for ME CLE credit if Maine attorneys register and attend this program.
